The size of a coded wire tag is only 1 x 0.25 mm, and these tags are commonly implanted under the skin on the tip of the snout which means they are rarely recovered. Nonetheless, if you happen to find such a tag, we ask that you to tape it firmly to the attached printable form or to a piece of paper with the required information. We will then try our best to identify the fish’s origin.
